taking a baby break

So I am due to have a baby any day now & I'm going to take a little break from orders. I will resume in a couple months-in May? You understand-right? I love my little projects, but for sanity sake, I should take a time-out.

I get so sad after my kids' birthday parties, in a mopey litlte sugar coma. We had so much fun & I'm so glad I could fully enjoy it before this baby boy steals the show. Ruthie ate it up, loved seeing her sweet friends from her class-she's a social little thing. I'm glad only family was around to see her open presents-she was like a tasmanian devil & then it was time for a nap.

 Ruthie loves strawberry cake (and I do too). I used Paula Deen's recipe. If I can do it, you can. I don't bake much.

 Okay, so I got a Silhouette CAMEO™ for Christmas and did these little heart cut-outs for the mailbox favors (Target dollar bin) & cupcake holders. I could really go berserk with this thing, it overwhelms.

I shared this song & its message to my Bible study girls the other week. 

Thought it fit with Valentine's Day, I'll tell you why. 

So sometimes, I will ask hubby to tell me why he loves me-he squirms & lists stupid/sweet things. But as women-we so want to be loved and can really put the heat on (and not in a good way) our significant others to show their love.

Over the course of our time together, I've tried to lesson the demands of Tim to prove his love and turn to God. Not that hubby is off the hook (nothing shows some love like loading that dishwasher). But we gotta know that we are loved regardless if we get it from our marriages/relationships-God loves us more than any other human is possible.

I have sweet friends who are going through a ick season in their marriage & there is a love shortage in their union-this song is to remind us that God's love is so very great & if we accept His love, we can be filled up.

I love the quirky drawings my kids do, a peek into their little heads. So hard for me to part with some of them-although there has to be a realistic limit on what can be kept-right?

Does this make you laugh? Why does it crack me up so? Reminds me of when I get miss fancy pants and forget my life sometimes. Like when Tim & I get out for night out & I eat yummy food & return to the out of control laundry & dirty dishes. And thinking to tomorrow when I have a back-to-back beauty treatments-haircut & then massage. Please God, don't let me go into labor before I have this day.
