YAY for the soon arrival of baby Camille. This is one of my little sister-Polly's best bud's first baby. I tend to acquire Polly's friends too, so Palmer is a friend of mine as well! I was smiling & praying for this little one while painting. Palmer will be a great mom & handle it all well. And our babies will be the same age coming up together-sweet! This is part of the baby shower gift we are helping do for her.

mae's birdy

A birthday painting I did for my friend Jennifer's daughter Mae. Here's a pic of Mae Mae looking quite sassy (with her little bro Carter). Love to Mae, love to Mae's funny, kind, crazy mama. I could not get through potty training without her. You have to laugh at poop otherwise it will make you lose your you-know-what.

growth chart!

GROWTH CHART!!! I've been wanting to do one & it usually takes a request to get things going. Thanks, Maggie! Painted on canvas with wooden dowels at top and bottom & ribbon for hanging. Size: 12"x42" & measures up to 60". Price=$80. Design can be whatever we think up!

These are the 2 paintings I finished for my neighbor Amy (and one of henry's fave babysitters) who is graduating and going to Alabama this fall on a full ride-smart girl! She is from a wonderful family and we are completely blessed to have them across the street. The Brooks girls have been my sanity savers when I try to juggle my freelance gd work/painting and mommy role.

These 2 are a collage of pretty paper with layers of paint wash.

charlie's nursery

This was commissioned by my friend Ashley for her new baby boy's room-Charlie. I had alot of fun doing this. Charlie is so precious and I'm so glad he is here! Congrats, Chad & Ashley!!!!

more largen life

Okay, 2 little ones in diapers is interesting, lots of poo & I've got the picture to prove it.

henry has done well with the new little sister. the only thing is that he does like to chew on a pacifier when he sees ruthie with hers. i don't think he even remembers how to use the paci-he gave it up at 6 months. he usually gnaws on the wrong side of it. if this all he's doing so far, totally fine with me. i'm proud of him.

the painting i did for baby girl's room. goodness, i was finishing it the week before she came. birds were the theme for henry's room & I was sure crazy for birds & now she gets dandelions.
