little lady is one

We had Ruthie's #1 bday-all about ladybugs. The day was happy and a little sad for me. I wasn't so sentimental with Henry, just don't want Ruthie to get big on me. When I was picking out her bday card in Target, I started tearing up. Goodness, I didn't even cry when my babies were born. You never know when it is going to hit you.

So fun putting the decorations together, I could decorate for kids bdays each week. Used gumballs, bandanna material, artificial sunflowers, & black/red twizzlers. Found some fun lady bug things at Hobby Lobby too.

These were homemade cupcakes with fondant toppers from appleberry attic. So just got the toppers in the mail & stuck them on the tops of the iced cupcakes.

My backyard floral arrangements.
Ruthie's grandmother (Honey) got her this little dress. So cute, she def looked like a little lady in this dress.

Outfit change! I got her little shirt made at simple stitch. Selena has so many
affordable, cute things.
My strawberry Wal-Mart cake that I fancied up with: marshmallows, Dots, black jelly beans, ladybug gummies (all choking hazards, as hubby pointed out).
